The "Devil's Needle" near Teresópolis

The Serrana, also known as the Serra Fluminense is a mountainous region of the state of Rio de Janeiro, in the Southeast of Brazil. It borders on the Valley Region to the west, Grande Rio and the Lakes Region to the south, the North and Northeast regions of the state, and the Zona da Mata region of Minas Gerais to the north.
