Simultala is a hamlet in Bihar in India. It is a relatively undeveloped rural area, so may be of interest for tourists looking for a quiet, out of the way place with a pleasant climate.

Shimultala, though on the Main Line of Eastern Railway, is yet to develop. It is still a virgin country with valleys, hillocks, brooks and rivulets. Electricity and mobile phone coverage are both developed now with vast distance. Here you get tranquility, solitude and peace seldom found else where. Visit here to get a refreshing weather anytime of the year.

There had been Naxalite terrorist activity in the area, but things have improved since the early 2010s. Nevertheless, if possible, stay in Telwa bazar, Jhajha or Deoghar instead of Simultala. Enjoy the day only, as electricity is a big problem there. So is transport: only trains can help you.

Go next[edit]

  • Deoghar – 20 km (by train)
  • Jhajha – 18 km (by train)
