Sparks is in Nevada. It's a suburb of Reno, just east along Interstate 80.

- Amtrak serves Sparks with the California Zephyr, which runs daily between Emeryville (in the San Francisco Bay Area) and Chicago.
- Megabus offers service from San Francisco and Sacramento. The bus stop is located at the RTC Centennial Plaza at 1421 Victorian Avenue.
