What are we going to do with this and other articles created by User:178.255.152.117 and worked on by User:87.74.196.200 and User:46.233.112.44, all of whom are clearly banned user ArticCynda? Ikan Kekek (talk) 02:52, 8 May 2023 (UTC)Reply

My recollection is that we decided that we will delete the anti-Semite bigot's articles without further discussion. Ground Zero (talk) 03:18, 8 May 2023 (UTC)Reply
Right, but is there any issue of "beyond x date" or something? Ikan Kekek (talk) 03:31, 8 May 2023 (UTC)Reply
I plan to delete this and all other articles created by these socks by tomorrow unless someone explains why not. Ikan Kekek (talk) 04:46, 8 May 2023 (UTC)Reply
On 7 May 2021, in the discussion on banning ArticCynda, I wrote "the conclusion is a permanent ban, and we will remove AC's previous contributions." This conclusion was accepted by other editors, and was not challenged. Ground Zero (talk) 04:52, 8 May 2023 (UTC)Reply
OK, I will delete this and proceed to their other contributions. Ikan Kekek (talk) 05:52, 8 May 2023 (UTC)Reply
Plus, didn't we confirm this on a discussion named "What do we do with Tyrol?", which led to the reorganisation of Tyrol by LPfi. SHB2000 (talk | contribs | meta) 06:12, 8 May 2023 (UTC)Reply
I suppose. However, we missed a lot. I had to delete several articles that were started by and with contributions overwhelmingly by socks of that guy, including 3 region articles: this one, Paznaun Valley and Lower Inn Valley. There are still a lot of contributions by that guy's sockpuppets in articles, and it's not always easy to unravel them from among other people's work. Ikan Kekek (talk) 06:50, 8 May 2023 (UTC)Reply
I think I will repeat myself (from "What do we do with Tyrol?", linked above): "I think loosing significant contributions from good-faith users is worse than keeping some of banned users. Thus, where edits are mixed and reverting just the latter is hard, or it is unclear what edits are by whom, let the edits stay. I am afraid we still need to delete a lot, unless we decide to let the older work stay. As a result of the Leermos discussion linked above, I am neutral to what to do and will not delete a new batch myself." –LPfi (talk) 08:07, 8 May 2023 (UTC)Reply
The articles I deleted were overwhelmingly by IP socks of the banned user. I am done deleting their contributions for now, but there are certainly problems that remain in a number of articles. I think we may not have realized how many IPs were socks of that user. I just discovered how much work they had done because I started looking at this article in preparation for the new cotm and realized that it was by the banned user.
