Reverse Redirect[edit]

Shouldn't this (and Akiyoshido/Akiyoshidai) actually redirect to Mine instead of the reverse? ChubbyWimbus (talk) 15:32, 25 November 2015 (UTC)[reply]

the merge tag[edit]

Imho the merge tag as it currently is makes little sense as it suggests to merge to an article, that currently redirects... here... Hobbitschuster (talk) 11:20, 12 December 2015 (UTC) Hobbitschuster (talk) 11:20, 12 December 2015 (UTC)[reply]

The above comment by me addresses that exact issue. To expand, the national park is contained within the city but the city does not have enough other attractions to warrant a split and the national park also doesn't have such a great number of places to visit either, so it seems to make more sense to just have a city article that can use Akiyoshidai as a subheading. If Mine has no real attractions, I would rather be for adding Mine hotels/restaurants/etc into this Akiyoshidai article. Syced (talk) 08:54, 12 March 2017 (UTC)[reply]
That would violate wiaa, which says, in part, "If an attraction or an event is really famous, and travellers may not know the city or region it is in, then create an article with the attraction name as title, but make it a redirect to the appropriate destination article, and put the actual description of the attraction in the destination article. For example, Taj Mahal redirects to Agra and Burning Man redirects to Black Rock City." So the article should be move to Mine. Ground Zero (talk) 13:32, 15 June 2017 (UTC)[reply]
