Considering VfD/merge[edit]

Why was this article actually created? It doesn't seem to bring virtually anything compared to Antarctica. Also, there's no wikidata entry... -- andree.sk(talk) 07:47, 5 November 2018 (UTC)[reply]

Based on a quick glance, it looks like it could be merged into Antarctica. Antarctica has 4 subregions - they don't need to be divided into a group of 3 and a group of one, with this article as a parent for the group of 3. Nurg (talk) 10:37, 5 November 2018 (UTC)[reply]
This article was created as part of a reorganization of the Antarctica articles earlier this year. My impression is that the reorganized regions are less useful for travellers than the previous ones, so I suggest going back to the old regions. If that's not feasible, I imagine redirecting this article to Antarctica would still be an improvement. —Granger (talk · contribs) 13:58, 5 November 2018 (UTC)[reply]
