Use of passages from Wikipedia

What kind of article should this be?

This is currently set up as a city(!) article, despite being about four locations in different parts of India, which is clearly not the right way to handle it. Should this article be:

• a) an itinerary? (doesn't seem very likely to me that someone would set out to hit only the four corners of India without including loads of other things in their itinerary)
• b) a travel topic? (is there a great deal more to say about it than we already have here?)
• c) merged to India#Understand?

A collection of pilgrim sites sounds like a travel topic, but the article should definitely be expanded by some knowledgeable person. ϒpsilon (talk) 18:44, 30 July 2014 (UTC)

Any details about the four individual sites should belong to its respective city article. So is there really much more to say about the four sites as a whole, as a single topic? Enough to fill out an article about it? Texugo (talk) 19:14, 30 July 2014 (UTC)

As of now there isn't much in the article. There might well be a whole lot to write about the sites and their history, but I don't have a clue about them. Pashley perhaps knows something, otherwise I think the content could be merged into India. ϒpsilon (talk) 19:39, 30 July 2014 (UTC)

I'd say create a "Char Dham" section in Sacred sites of the Indian sub-continent, merge any useful content there and redirect this to it. Pashley (talk) 19:48, 30 July 2014 (UTC)
