Eurovision is big enough to have there own article, Right?[edit]

As Eurovision gets 150 million viewers annually and has cultural influence all over the world, it’s a big enough event to have its own article right? Tai123.123 (talk) 00:43, 11 October 2021 (UTC)[reply]

Viewers are not travellers. What's the travel angle? Ikan Kekek (talk) 01:37, 11 October 2021 (UTC)[reply]
I'm not sure whether Eurovision meets WV:Events, as what Ikan mentioned, viewers ≠ travellers. SHB2000 (talk | contribs | meta.wikimedia) 03:33, 11 October 2021 (UTC)[reply]
@SHB2000 Would it be better to add ESC 2022 to the Turin article instead Tai123.123 (talk) 04:58, 11 October 2021 (UTC)[reply]
Not sure. SHB2000 (talk | contribs | meta.wikimedia) 06:15, 11 October 2021 (UTC)[reply]
@SHB2000 I think it's complex enough event for it to have its own article for one there are various destiations related to Eurovision like the new Museum in husavik, along with that many countries host their own National Final so all of those could be linked, it has also been hosted by many different cities fulling that criteria laid out. (Though it probably wouldn't have your standard event template.) Tai123.123 (talk) 06:42, 11 October 2021 (UTC)[reply]

Because the venue changes every year, we cannot provide useful travel advice on how to attend the event. The museum in Husavik is one point of interest, so it is not enough to sustain an article. That info should be in Husavik. Either add ECS 2022 info to Turin, or if there is too much information, create an event article, like Past events/Tokyo 2020.
