Talk:Four days in Bangkok

Great job on the itinerary, although personally, I think going to the Grand Palace and Wat Pho on subsequent days is too much — they're quite similar and both extremely touristy.
At any rate, I think we can safely redirect "my" old One day in Bangkok here, since it appears to have been reborn here as Day 2. (WT-en) Jpatokal 11:30, 14 August 2009 (EDT)
- I think maybe we can split this up into three or four itineraries:
- One day in Bangkok
- Yaowarat and Pahurat Tour
- One Weekend in Bangkok (for Thonburi, Chatuchak, Phayathai Palace and other stuff that can only be done in weekends).
- The only stuff I got left then is the "Day 1" part. --(WT-en) globe-trotter 09:13, 3 April 2010 (EDT)
Chatuchak[edit]
I wouldn't recommend Chatuchak in the afternoons -- it's broiling hot, packed, and many stalls close. Much better to hit it the first thing in the morning and get out by noon. (WT-en) Jpatokal 22:52, 18 August 2009 (EDT)
- Agreed, it's better in the morning. But the same goes for Taling Chan, so I think they're best visited on separate days. --(WT-en) globe-trotter 09:13, 3 April 2010 (EDT)
