There is an Australia commons photo competition going on. Good chance to update some banners. How about this for Fraser Island?
I much prefer the current banner. Current bannerIkan Kekek (talk) 01:52, 1 May 2017 (UTC)Reply[reply]
The current banner has photographic merit, but I am finding that too many Australia articles have almost generic beach scenes such as this. I was hoping to add some variety... --Andrewssi2 (talk) 02:45, 1 May 2017 (UTC)Reply[reply]
I understand. However, people aren't visiting this place to see a dingo in a blurry background, I don't think, so variety for its own sake may not be the right way to go in regard to pagebanners. Ikan Kekek (talk) 02:55, 1 May 2017 (UTC)Reply[reply]
Late response, but I visited Fraser Island this April and the current one is definitely more representative of the island. After all, Fraser Is. is known for being the world's largest sand island, so it'd be absurd to add a photo of a dingo that could be almost anywhere that's not Tas.
