Upgrading pages

Hi all,

As I'm currently working on upgrading Gippsland-related pages to usable, if anyone is curious on a summary table of the status of pages, I'm keeping track on User:LivelyRatification#Status table of Gippsland articles. Here's the current table, though as it doesn't automatically update, it's only accurate at the time I'm writing this message.

Splitting this region up

@LivelyRatification, Ground Zero: There's a good 28 articles breadcrumbed underneath this region, and I think it's time to split them up. Proposing it similar to how I did it on New England (New South Wales) by LGA.

Here's just what I thought:

• East Gippsland

all towns and parks in the East Gippsland LGA

• Wellington and Latrobe Central Gippsland

all towns and parks in the Wellington and Latrobe LGAs

• South and West Gippsland

all towns and parks in the South Gippsland, Bass Coast and Baw Baw LGAs + both the Phillip and French Islands

Does this work out? I'm only making these based on a map of Victoria's LGAs, only so it's easier to make a coloured dynamic map. But if some other boundary works better, that may as well be the one that we should use. --SHB2000 (talk | contribs | meta.wikimedia) 04:06, 25 November 2021 (UTC)

At a guess - Bairnsdale, Leongatha, Traralgon, Sale, Warragul, Orbost, Wonthaggi, Lakes Entrance, and uh, maybe Paynesville? Those last 4 seem like a stretch, but if you want 9 that's my 9. LivelyRatification (talk) 19:05, 25 November 2021 (UTC)
