Merge with Newburyport?

This is another example of an area that is unnecessarily split up into different towns because its in New England. Newbury and Newburyport used to be part of the same town until local politics split them up, but I don't see how the fact that these are legally separate municipalities is useful to visitors, especially since Plum Island is split between the two towns despite the fact that it is a distinct destination. I could see Plum Island having its own article, but not a Newbury article that is just half of Plum Island.Godsendlemiwinks (talk) 02:14, 25 August 2015 (UTC)
