Another travel site has Why the Seven Wonders of the World are totally stupid. They have a point. Pashley (talk) 23:15, 24 April 2014 (UTC)
- Any "best of" list will have its critics, but it still makes for an interesting travel article. We should consider expanding the scope of this article to "Seven Wonders of the World" and include the modern list (w:Wonders of the World#Lists from other eras) and the nature list (w:Wonders of the World#Seven Natural Wonders of the World) as they all make for interesting travel lists. -- Ryan • (talk) • 23:48, 24 April 2014 (UTC)
- No offense, Pashley, but I think that article is a waste of time. It says the world was "barely civilized at the time". What about Ancient Greece, Ancient Egypt, etc., etc? It's worth including as a travel topic. --Comment by Selfie City (talk | contributions) 20:35, 17 November 2018 (UTC)

- Actually, it's an interesting coincidence that you thought I meant the opposite of what I really meant. I didn't agree with the article that criticized the 7 wonders; in other words, I "supported" the 7 wonders, while you thought I supported an article that didn't support the 7 wonders.

Recently I ran into this w:New7Wonders of the World. What do you say, should there be a (list) article for those here on Wikivoyage too? The same organization also has compiled lists of w:New7Wonders of Nature and w:New7Wonders Cities, those could be included in the same article. ϒψιλον (talk) 14:45, 13 November 2018 (UTC)
