• BR-472 runs north-south through town, connecting with cities in the north of the state, and crossing the Uruguay border in the south, connecting with Uruguay Route 3 towards Salto.

By plane

Uruguaiana has a small airport with flights from Porto Alegre, Pelotas, Rio Grande, and Santa Maria.
