Hi folks my name is Glen Crouch, I'm 31 in live in the new up and coming city of Milton Keynes (60k north of London)in England.

I'm a laid back guy, fun loving and like to make the best of the situatioons I find myself in.

As well as travelling I like my music from U2 to The Chemical Brothers.

I'm also a film buff, and a passionate Chelsea fan, since the days of Dixon and Nevin.

I never got the travel bug until I was 25, before then my holidays were either 2 weeks in Blackpool or a Spanish Package tour that involved drinking games and getting sunburnt.

However my father decided to save my soul and introduce me to backpacking and travelling.

After some backpacking around my island and Europe, I decided to venture out to Oz. It was one of the best experiences I ever had, meeting so many people and seeing so much.

I started in Adelaide and finshed in Sydney, calling at Kangaroo Island, Murray Bridge, The Great Ocean Rd, Melbourne, Canberra, The Blue Mountains and climaxing in my most favourite city Sydney.

Unfortunitly I was only there just over a month, but tried to see as much as possible, and plan to go back one day and see more!

After this trip I tried the settling down and buying a house genre, but it wasn't me and after some money problems decided to work hard and get saving again.

During this period I met Monika, and we did some travelling around Europe as a Starter visiting her home country of Poland, which has some great places to visit on a budget.

We also toured Sardinia, Northern Italy, Egypt and France.

This was our teaser ready for our trip to South East Asia.

We only had a month and a tight budget, but the trip was brilliant and was up there with Oz!

We started in Thailand staying 3 days in the amazing diverse city of Bangkok, then heading north to Pakchong staying in the rain forrest hills, then travelling south to the island and beach resorts of Ko Phi Phi & Krabi.

We then headed over the border to Malaysia, visiting the amazing Cameron Higlands, the great city of Kula Lumpar (New York with Palm Trees), before heading to my paradise the Tioman Islands.

Finally we finshed at the very clean Singapore.

I intend to add a blog of both those trips, it's a good read with some tips and humour chucked in for good measures.

The hardest choice now is where to go next and when.

I admire all those people I have met that have quit there jobs and have taken a year or longer out to explore the world.

I'm still a beginner at this, but my desire to see more grows stronger and stronger.
