Hello there fellow travellers!

My name is Thrudur and I live in Hanstholm, Northwestern Denmark. I'm originally from the small village of Hella in Southern Iceland, but I move around a lot. I have travelled extensively, mostly in South America and you'll find me as an active member of Lonely Planet's Thorntree Forum on the internet. I love photography and travelling - two hobbies that go together in perfect harmony. I love all animals, specially cats, dogs and horses, all sorts of outdoor activities and sports such as hiking, camping and diving. When travelling, I'd normally go on my own with my backpack, as I find myself getting a deeper feeling and understanding of the country I'm visiting if on my own, as well as the opportunity to team up with fellow travellers on the road. Things that are never missing in my backpack is my camera and my Victorinox Swiss army knife.
