Bună Ronline! Îţi scriu aici că Wikipedia nu funţionează deocamdată.

Project:LanguageRo.php

Pentru căutarea \"$1\ => Pentru solicitarea \"$1\

Căutare invalidă => Solicitarea de căutare incorectă (eventual invalidă dacă nu-ţi place incorectă)

Query SQL => Solicitare SQL

Folosiţi chestionarul de mai jos pentru a efectua un query direct către baza de date Wikivoyage (MySQL). Folosiţi apostrofuri ('în felul acesta') pentru a delimita şiruri de text. Această funcţionalitate poate solicita în mod deosebit server-ul, aşa că vă rugăm să nu o folosiţi în exces." => Folosiţi chestionarul de mai jos pentru a efectua o solicitare directă către baza de date Wikivoyage (MySQL). Introduceţi query => Introduceţi solicitare

Trimiteţi query => Trimiteţi solicitare

http://es.wikipedia.org/w/wiki.phtml?title=Ruman%EDa&action=edit

2[edit]

fişieră =>fişier. Eu am Windows în română iar termenii folosiţi sunt folder pentru folder şi fişier pentru file.

3[edit]

alt timp => altădată

4[edit]

image:fişier.jpg => imagine:fişier.jpg

& thank you for all of your help in the phrasebook. You can see why I make only tiny edits in the Romanian-language pages... -- (WT-en) Jmabel 01:55, 1 Jan 2004 (PST)

(WT-en) Evan seems to have a problem with my indicating in the Romanian Phrasebook article which sections have and haven't been checked by a native speaker and whether I think a particular sentence might have a problem. He says that belongs in the talk page. I, frankly, think that's silly, since I think anyone using the phrase book in its current unfinished state should see what parts of it should not yet be trusted. Oh, well. I'm not going to get into an edit war, but be aware that if you are going to keep cleaning up behind me, which I would appreciate, you may have to look on the Talk page to see which sections are in what state. Let me know if anything is confusing to you about the state of the work. (WT-en) Jmabel 00:48, 3 Jan 2004 (EST)

I think this is on the wrong person's talk page. B-) I don't have a problem with the comments; I just make a point of taking out first-person content in the actual guide.
If you want to discuss the article, discuss it on the talk page. That's why we have talk pages. As to having an edit war: it's always better to discuss policies like this than to pass them up. Everybody ends up being better educated. --(WT-en) Evan 01:53, 3 Jan 2004 (EST)

Thanks Ronline for the nice welcome. I can't really write in Romanian very well, but I plan on helping out in translating some of the Romanian-language pages into English. --(WT-en) Anca

I tried to translate Tirana but there are too many little words that are completely different in Romanian than in French or even Italian. E.g. "sau" (L. "sive"?) is "or" but all the other Romance languages I know use "o" or "ou" (L. "aut"). Can you help me make sense of it? -(WT-en) phma 17:19, 25 Jan 2004 (EST)

Go ahead and translate it, and also explain the words. You should be able to tell what I didn't understand by where I left a phrase untranslated. Also a bit of basic morphology (conjugating verbs etc.) would help. Evan moved it, BTW. -(WT-en) phma 20:24, 25 Jan 2004 (EST)

What's the difference between "ceas" and "timp", other than that "ceas" is Slavic and "timp" Romance?

Here's a sentence from Prague:

Deşi Cehia este o ţară fostă comunistă, rămâne cea mai bogată ţară din Europa de Est, însemnând că Praga va părea foarte mult ca un oraş din Europa de Vest.

Although Czechia is a land former communist, remains ? most rich land ? Europe of East, ? ? Prague ? ? strong much ? a ? ? Europe of West. What's the rest mean? -(WT-en) phma

Oh boy, thank you Wikivoyage for giving me some way to get back into trying to understand Romanian! In my experience, "ceas" means "hour" and "watch" or "clock", whereas "timp" is a more general term for "time".
The translation for the sentence is probably more like this: "Though Czechia was formerly a communist country, it remains the richest of the Eastern European nations, meaning that Prague appears more like a Western European City." (This is not a word for word translation, of course...)
Does that work? -- (WT-en) Anca

Oh, by the way, I have put the translation on Pierre's talk page a long time ago! Have you read it? (WT-en) Ronline 02:57, 30 Jan 2004 (EST)

Hi, I'm still getting used to how the Wiki works... I wonder about you philosophy of translations. Are you trying to get word for word translations, or do you mind if we change things around a bit to make them more natural to English speakers? I'm taking the latter approach, but that's just my personal opinion. Hope that's all right! -- (WT-en) Anca

Software upgrade[edit]

Can you let me know if the software upgrade went OK on ro:?

Also, I'm going to use LanguageRo.php to update the language file on ro:. Is that OK? --(WT-en) Evan 01:46, 8 Apr 2004 (EDT)

Sorry to hear this[edit]

So, I'm sorry to hear about your decision. I would prefer that you would stick around, and perhaps we can work something out that's amenable to all people.

I'm going to leave all your privileges enabled until you let me know that you're really not going to contribute any more. --(WT-en) Evan 12:20, 15 May 2004 (EDT)

Go-between report for ro:[edit]

The last go-between report for ro: was on 12 October 2004 -- almost four months ago. These reports are supposed to happen once a month. Could you please give an update on ro: in the Project:Logbook? --(WT-en) Evan 13:00, 9 Feb 2005 (EST)

We're heading into the 6th month, now. Edits on ro: are very, very low. I'm having a hard time not seeing this as an inactive Wikivoyage. --(WT-en) Evan 19:32, 29 Mar 2005 (EST)
And again. There's some more activity on ro:, but not a ton. Can you give us an update? Is this language version going anywhere, or is it time to shut it down? --(WT-en) Evan 09:09, 8 Jun 2005 (EDT)

how you open romanian language version later archived?
