We have an introductory page for business owners--please take a minute to read it before going on with your edits. What's most important when adding your properties to the listings are: be fair and don't tout.

Thank you for contributing to Uganda and several of its National park and game reserve articles as well as giving us new articles on Aswa-Lolim and Kafu River Basin.

However, the way that you have used www.uganda-wildlife-photographic-safaris.com in much of the text looks very much like an advertisement or search engine promotion. Wikivoyage strives to avoid being an "advertising brochure" for any business, city, or service--so please edit your text to describe the places that manages rather than trying to sell it to a reader. If yo do not do so, other editors may take a harsher course of action.

The way that you have already promoted your website is placing all your good work at risk of being reverted, your new articles being deleted and your website being banned as spam. Continuing to do so could result in this happening. The only thing that stopped me doing any of this was the fact that you have not created multiple hyperlinks to your website ... yet. Others may not be so kind, so I would rather you edit the articles, first, so that you do not need to rework them again later if somebody else undoes all the good work you have done.

I'm sorry if this comes across as a bit harsh and demanding, but think of it this way. You have just unwittingly stepped on one of Wikivoyage's landmines. It has blown up in your face! But you only got a fright and showered with a bit of dirt, rather than having your legs blown off and been killed - figuratively speaking - which has happened to some of our other contributors.

I would also recommend you create a listing for Uganda Wildlife Safaris Ltd. on a relevant Uganda page and then read our Project:External links and other policies before your future edits--and we would happy to see you back editing here but also respecting our guidelines ;-) - (WT-en) Huttite 13:57, 14 February 2009 (EST)
