Hi, Welcome to Wikivoyage, and thanks for creating an account.

I know you have already made contributions to Panama, but if you like you can review policies and guidelines and style as well as some important information on copyleft.

It is one of Wikivoyage's goals to be a printed guide, but the hierarchical structure of Wikivoyage, generally means that the country level articles should contain information on getting into the country, the areas, geography, regions, and high level view across attractions. The city level guides can contain contact information for specific attractions, it can't all go at country level.

Tour operators can be listed in Wikivoyage, under some circumstances. See Project:Activity listings#Tour listings. Basically, they have to offer a service to the traveller that the traveller can't easily accomplish themselves through information in the guide. However, if you find yourself adding your link multiple times to a page, tagging each attraction with a your company URL, that is probably not in line with policy. See Project:Don't tout.

Anyway, I look forward to reading more of your contributions, and if you need help, check out Project:Help, or post a message in the travellers' pub. -- (WT-en) Inas 22:18, 1 May 2009 (EDT)

Unfortuantly linking to blogs is not allowed per our external links policy, so I'm affraid the answer is no. Only primary sources like government websites etc. can be linked. --(WT-en) Stefan (sertmann) Talk 17:34, 8 May 2009 (EDT)

Hi. I'm glad that you have decided to stay and contribute to Panama. So many tour operators seem only interested in adding their listing and moving on. I think moving the Do section to the top of the article won't stick though, as the idea is to have a standard format for each article, like in Project:Article templates. If you think it is worth considered changing the template overall, you can discuss it there. Thanks --(WT-en) Inas 19:25, 14 May 2009 (EDT)

User account[edit]

Hello, it looks like you created your user account with a typo in the name. Rather than continue to edit under the old account with redirects to the new userpages, why don't you just change the name altogether? The easiest way to do this is to simply register a new account under "Jiki Panama" and edit from there; otherwise you could ask Jani to rename your existing account as desired. --(WT-en) Peter Talk 19:43, 28 May 2009 (EDT)
