- Please see Project:Welcome, business owners. Your listing might be added to at most one article. So someone going to Lansing is expected to check out the Lansing (Michigan), Central Michigan, and Michigan articles. There should be no duplicate info between the articles. Your listing still might not pass muster at a state level if it is deemed not significant statewide. So when I go to Midwest (United States), and I see do, and under do I see fishing, but it goes nowhere? I scroll down the page under sleep and see places listed that are in multiple areas (Traverse City Places) I wonder? I am new to this, but when I signed up I was told to plunge forward! Would it be better to write an article page for fishing / Fly Fishing in the Midwest or Great lakes states and just have a link from fishing in the Midwest page or other pages that will get people to look at the micro areas? Sorry to be a pain.

- You're right that something like the Midwest article might reasonably include a mention of fly fishing. But probably at that level it should be general advice about how fly fishing is very popular and the traveller unfamiliar with the area should try to find a guide who can show him some of the better spots and so forth. Then at the lower region or city levels, we could include some listings for guides. And your not a pain, you just misunderstood. See Wikipedia's Wikipedia:Forgive and forget and Wikipedia:Assume good faith which really help for community projects like ours. I have read the info related to Wikivoyage, but can site a great number of users who have placed links in multiple locations on Wikivoyage. I created pages for towns that had nothing, and offered a service for those who do travel and use this site. Did I go overboard in placement of my link on a national level, yes, but have had all links removed but one, which can not even be found if someone is looking at a town 20 min away, or at a river that I have provided service for more then 20 years. Having all but one link cut out of Wikivoyage makes this site useless to me and those people who would want to use this site for finding activates such as mine in the region where they are looking. Some of these towns had nothing, so I created a template for them. The idea of plunge forward and even if it is not in the right area, someone will place it in the right area means, we will remove all links and allow only one, this makes no sense. If no info is there to start with, the idea of welcome expansion is not in play. I will be better off writing blogs on an area and mention at all opportunities of how poor Wikivoyage is at opening opportunities for people traveling; this resource is set up more for the Hotel, motel and resort businesses. I noticed that all of the open templates that I created now have commercial hotel and motel listings, sounds like an auto link program is in place. I understand that if everyone could place a link, the site would be so large that it would not work as well, but when no info is listed on an area, and a user offers an activity for prospective travelers, and the site would rather have nothing, something is wrong? I can understand once again that too many links would spoil the pie, but when nothing is in that area and you provide something to do? When only about 20% of the resources in an area are allowed to be posted on Wikivoyage, it makes the service provided (0 info) useless. This is a Shame, it looked like a useful resource, but now I see that it is limited.
- Maybe you should do a bit of self-examination. Yes, you have created a few pages. Maybe it would be better to try to fill them in for the benefit of all rather than try to use the site soley for your own commercial purposes. If you really think this is the place for you to advertise, contact the owner Internet Brands and tell them of your desire. They can hook you up once ads are running. To think you will get something for free is a bit childish as well as you threat to blog the site in a less than desirable manner. But, if you wish to spend your time in a childish pay-back-sour pursuit,, plunge forward.
