Hello!

Welcome to Wikivoyage. You can edit your preferences to change how the software works for you. Please take a second to look at our copyleft and policies and guidelines, but feel free to plunge forward and edit some pages. Scanning the Manual of style, especially the article templates, can give you a good idea of how we like articles formatted. If you're new to our wiki software, MediaWiki, look at the Wiki markup to get an idea of how to edit a page. If you need help, check out the help desk, and if you need some info not on there, post a message in the travellers' pub.

Also, I noticed on your userpage you attempted to link to articles like this: Place, State, Country. We name our articles simply "Place" so Cincinnati, Ohio would only be Cincinnati. In case, there is more than one place with the same name we use a disambiguator. Take Windsor, as an example. Since there are multiple places with the name Windsor we use Windsor as a disambiguation page, but if you want to link to Windsor, Ontario it would be Windsor (Ontario). We do it different from Wikipedia and other places, because some technical features require we do so. -- (WT-en) Sapphire(Talk) • 06:21, 11 March 2007 (EDT)

Editing talk pages[edit]

Hi. So, I've rolled back an edit you make to a talk page. Usually on talk pages, unless there's an extremely good reason to, we don't edit other people's comments. Note that this is different from on the article pages, where anyone should feel free to edit anything. There's some more info on Project:Using talk pages. --(WT-en) Evan 10:01, 14 March 2007 (EDT)

This actually goes for other people's user pages, too. --(WT-en) Evan 11:30, 15 March 2007 (EDT)
