Please read our naming conventions - the articles you are creating are inappropriate. Please also see our guidelines for marketers. -- (WT-en) Ryan • (talk) • 19:59, 13 October 2010 (EDT)

Please respond on this talk when you have read the above guidelines. If you continue to create mis-named articles or add inappropriate listings it may unfortunately be necessary to begin temporarily blocking this account as a way to try and get your attention. -- (WT-en) Ryan • (talk) • 11:05, 14 October 2010 (EDT)
Once again, please read our guidelines for marketers. Listings that use the first person or read like they were copied from a marketing brochure will almost always be removed. Wikivoyage is a travel guide - information that is contributed should read like one would expect to find in a Lonely Planet or a Moon guide, not a guide from the local chamber of commerce. -- (WT-en) Ryan • (talk) • 10:53, 19 October 2010 (EDT)

I've blocked you from editing for 24 hours in a further attempt to get your attention. -- (WT-en) Ryan • (talk) • 18:37, 21 October 2010 (EDT)
I have seen that you have blocked us from doing anything on Wiki. We did not intentionally post listings incorrectly. Will you please unblock us so we can go back and re-list all of these properties correctly?! --
Have you read the guidelines mentioned previously? Your intention on Wikivoyage is clearly to use the site for advertising, which is counter to our goals, so I'm not at all confident that your future contributions will be any better than what you've done here in the past. -- (WT-en) Ryan • (talk) • 11:19, 26 October 2010 (EDT)

I have read the guidelines thoroughly and understand your purpose behind them. This is my first experience working and posting with Wiki Travel, so I was unaware of your policies. I am more than willing to comply with the Wiki policies now that I know them. One question I do have is whether or not i have to fill out every field when i add a listing? (i.e. do i need to include the lat & long.?)

The important fields are name, address, phone, URL and price. The description must also be a useful description, not one that is SEO-optimized to trigger keywords for local attractions. Additionally, please make sure that if you create a new article that the naming is correct as described in Project:Article naming conventions - in the past you have created a number of articles that were incorrectly named and duplicated existing articles. -- (WT-en) Ryan • (talk) • 17:26, 26 October 2010 (EDT)
