Hi. Welcome to Wikivoyage. Have a read of Project:Tone, and please don't edit war. If your edit doesn't stick - take it to the discussion page. Thanks --(WT-en) inas 20:37, 19 February 2010 (EST)

I'm also unclear on how you're mistaking the standard grammar used in every travel guide anywhere for an imperative. If the Auckland article said "You WILL go to the beaches", your objection might make sense, but as it is you're simply introducing errors for no perceivable benefit. - (WT-en) D. Continuing to edit war will get you nowhere, and of course absurd personal accusations will be even less effective. Take it to the article's talk page, or let it be. You may also be interested in the well documented history of Andre Malraux's famous looting of Banteay Srei -- and consider that that incident is only remembered because of Malraux's later fame, not because it was exceptionally brazen for the time. - (WT-en) D. Personally, I think - "Take a ferry to the island and have a swim and a picnic", has a much more positive assertive tone, than "A ferry is available to travel to the island. Picnic facilities are available, and swimming is popular". It is more direct, and addresses the reader. It doesn't order the reader. It is a travel guide, and the reader can feel free to ignore anything they read. If you disagree, Project:Tone provides a place to discuss it where others can give their opinions too. --(WT-en) inas 23:43, 20 February 2010 (EST)
