Hello, 137.222.114.243! Welcome to Wikivoyage.

To help get you started contributing, we've created a tips for new contributors page, full of helpful links about policies and guidelines and style, as well as some important information on copyleft and basic stuff like how to edit a page. If you need help, check out Wikivoyage:Help, or post a message in the travellers' pub.

By the way, have you considered creating an account here? While you can absolutely keep contributing as an anonymous user, it promises a bunch of benefits, and no obligations.

However, please be careful about reverting edits; for example, in the Murmansk article, there is a reason I am removing content — it was added by, basically, a sockpuppet. Therefore, I have reverted your reversion. --Comment by Selfie City (talk | contributions) 15:13, 12 December 2018 (UTC)[reply]

User:SelfieCity, on a wiki it does not matter who added content as long as it can be verified to be correct, is relevant, and does not violate copyright. I did read the text on your user page to which you linked above, but this is your personal opinion. Deleting content only because it was added by someone you have a grudge against does not benefit the wiki project. A collaborative project should not be used as battleground for conflicts between its contributors.
In the end only the content of a wiki matters, who added it is irrelevant. 137.222.114.243 18:18, 12 December 2018 (UTC)[reply]
I know what I'm doing. Seriously. The user who added the content, ArticCynda, has had a long history of anti-Semitism, and continues to act as a sockpuppet. This was added by a sockpuppet, so it should be reverted. Are you AC? --Comment by Selfie City (talk | contributions) 23:26, 12 December 2018 (UTC)[reply]
User:SelfieCity, readers of Wikivoyage don't care who added information, as long as it's there. And regardless of who added the information, if it's correct and you're intentionally deleting it, you're not helping the traveller. Anyway, it appears you have lost your little personal vendetta inspired edit war because a more experienced user re-added the information you deleted, supporting my point of view on the matter. I'd strongly advise you to settle personal disputes with other members outside the wiki. If you keep deleting information useful to travellers/readers, you'll leave me no other choice than to report your destructive behaviour. 137.222.114.243 11:03, 22 January 2019 (UTC)[reply]
Report it to whom? In any case, you can argue about his decision, but it has nothing whatsoever to do with a "personal vendetta". Actions against chronic vandals are not taken lightly and are important for the site. Ikan Kekek (talk) 18:13, 22 January 2019 (UTC)[reply]

This is the discussion page for an anonymous user who has not created an account yet, or who does not use it. We therefore have to use the numerical IP address to identify them. Such an IP address can be shared by several users. If you are an anonymous user and feel that irrelevant comments have been directed at you, please create an account or log in to avoid future confusion with other anonymous users.
