I don't get it: why write scuba in capitals? (WT-en) Rmx 07:16, 6 Dec 2005 (EST)

Well, it is technically short for Self-Contained Underwater Breathing Apparatus. It's long since been absorbed into English though (compare "radar" and "laser") and I'm tempted to mass-revert all of these edits... (WT-en) Jpatokal 07:22, 6 Dec 2005 (EST)
Yah, but it's an accepted acronyms not an abbreviation so it should be lower case (See any dictionary or the Chicago Manual of Style for more info...). (WT-en) Majnoona 11:49, 8 Dec 2005 (EST)

Will you please discuss major changes like changing the names of Thailand's regions or capitalizing "SCUBA" in every single article on Wikivoyage?? And go sign up for an account so we can actually hold a rational discussion. (WT-en) Jpatokal 11:53, 6 Dec 2005 (EST)

Hello! Welcome to Wikivoyage. I want to thank you so much for all your edits! As a bad speller myself I really appreciate (sp?) your contributions. As you are making so many contributions it might help if you set up a user account that will provide you with a user page where you can tell us a little about yourself (if you want!) and a talk page.

Please take a sec to look at our copyleft and policies and guidelines, but feel free to plunge forward and edit some pages. Scanning the Manual of style, especially the article templates, can give you a good idea of how we like articles formatted. If you need help, check out Project:Help, and if you need some info not on there, post a message in the travellers' pub. --(WT-en) Majnoona 11:49, 8 Dec 2005 (EST)

Keep up the great work![edit]

Damn, you've the best anonymous user Wikivoyage's ever had! Please keep on plugging away at Thailand, but why not sign up for an account? (WT-en) Jpatokal 13:18, 11 Dec 2005 (EST)

This is the discussion page for an anonymous user who has not created an account yet, or who does not use it. We therefore have to use the numerical IP address to identify them. Such an IP address can be shared by several users. If you are an anonymous user and feel that irrelevant comments have been directed at you, please create an account or log in to avoid future confusion with other anonymous users.
