Hello, 70.83.177.34! Welcome to Wikivoyage.

To help get you started contributing, we've created a tips for new contributors page, full of helpful links about policies and guidelines and style, as well as some important information on copyleft and basic stuff like how to edit a page. If you need help, check out Wikivoyage:Help, or post a message in the travellers' pub.

By the way, have you considered creating an account here? While you can absolutely keep contributing as an anonymous user, it promises a bunch of benefits, and no obligations.

I reverted two of your edits, but don't feel bad; everyone gets reverted, including longtime users like me. You can see the reasons in the edit summaries I linked above. Edit summaries also show up when you click "View history" near the upper right of any article.

One quick question: How many Hindus are in Vietnam? I know that way back, during the times when Angkor Wat was built, the Champas were Hindus and ruled a powerful kingdom in Indochina. Now, though, they're mostly Muslims like their Malay brethren in Malaysia, Indonesia and the Southern Philippines. But though I haven't heard about Vietnamese Hindus today, it shouldn't be shocking to hear that there are a few.

Let me know if you have any questions about anything, and thanks for being there.

All the best,

Copyright violation from WT, tourism bureau language[edit]

Hi, and thanks again for editing so enthusiastically!

However, these edits are a big no-no and have been reverted. It is a violation of Wikitravel's Copyleft and of Wikivoyage's Copyleft policy to copy and paste passages from Wikitravel without even crediting the source or stating whether you are the same user who inputted all the content into Wikitravel in the first place. Read WV:Wikivoyage and Wikitravel for more background on the fraught relationship between the two sites which makes Wikivoyagers look askance at any copying from Wikitravel for whatever reason.

Secondly, the language reads as just like a tourism bureau's promotional language, down to the use of "our", which is prohibited in WV:Pronouns. Read WV:Welcome, tourism professionals for advice on how to avoid tourism bureau language. I would also observe that this is not new language, since the Wikitravel article on Dryden hasn't been edited since 2009. Please avoid edits like this in the future. Thanks. Your edits[edit]

You've edited a few climate templates with data that differs from the NOAA data. You'll need to specify your sources in future edits, as it's not clear that your data is reliable. -- Ryan • (talk) • 01:06, 7 January 2017 (UTC)[reply]

Climate template edits, again[edit]

You've been warned already about editing climate templates with non-NOAA data. If you continue to add information of this type without a proper source, or without at least responding to your talk page messages, it may be necessary to block you from editing. We don't want to do that, so don't force our hand. -- AndreCarrotflower (talk) 15:39, 7 January 2017 (UTC)[reply]

This is your last warning[edit]

If you keep making nonsense edits to articles, as you did in the past with climate data and are doing now at English language varieties, you're going to be blocked from editing. -- AndreCarrotflower (talk) 15:05, 15 April 2017 (UTC)[reply]

Block[edit]

Again with the climate template vandalism. Hopefully this block will let you know we're serious.

-- AndreCarrotflower (talk) 22:22, 25 April 2017 (UTC)[reply]

Apparently not, so you've now been blocked for 2 weeks for unsourced climate data. Why are you doing this? Ikan Kekek (talk) 22:55, 22 September 2017 (UTC)[reply]

Such an IP address can be shared by several users.
