Please see Wikivoyage's guidelines for hotel marketers. If you have questions you can ask them on this talk page or in the Pub. -- (WT-en) Ryan • (talk) • 17:05, 18 October 2011 (EDT)

I just reverted an unexplained substitution of one hotel listing for another in the Page article. If you are doing that to try to mess with a competitor, stop immediately. That kind of dishonest, predatory behavior is absolutely intolerable, and further such violations will likely result in a block of your account and possibly other actions. Hotel marketers are not permitted to add listings to Wikivoyage, only to update objective details like prices, phone numbers, etc. Also, please do not change short form urls to long form urls—our guides are meant to be printable, and this wastes space. --Peter Talk 20:54, 28 February 2013 (UTC)[reply]
Because this account is wasting our time, I thought it was time for a block. 1 day this time. Let's escalate this with each group of added hotel listings, knowing that we will never leave any of them up. Ikan Kekek (talk) 21:11, 20 March 2013 (UTC)[reply]
To the user of this account: hotel marketers should not add new listings to Wikivoyage per Wikivoyage:Don't tout. After a three day block I've now blocked this account for a week. -- Ryan • (talk) • 22:52, 29 July 2013 (UTC)[reply]
This account has been repeatedly blocked, and repeatedly returns to add listings for Marriott hotels. At this point one month blocks are being applied, although the account owner should still be able to edit this talk page and explain why you continue to ignore pointers to Wikivoyage's guidelines for hotel marketers. If you have questions please ask them, but please stop adding hotel listings to articles. -- Ryan • (talk) • 19:49, 29 January 2014 (UTC)[reply]
If you are an employee of Marriot hotels please create a user account at this site and work to the the guidelines stated above.. Would also be a good idea if you are just an enthusiastic and loyal customer. --Traveler100 (talk) 19:20, 6 January 2015 (UTC)[reply]
Now blocked for 6 months - the 11th block. Ikan Kekek (talk) 15:59, 28 August 2015 (UTC)[reply]
