Hello, welcome, and thanks for starting an article about Toledo, Oregon! I hope you won't be too disappointed that I edited your contributions very substantially. The aims and conventions of an online guide for the benefit of travellers are quite different from the aims and conventions of a Convention and Visitors Bureau or other tourism agency. We like to show what's great about a place but are careful not to tout it with lots of exclamation points and such, and we have standard article templates with standard subheadings that are used throughout the site. There are various other things I could say, but these are the main points I wanted to make - except that I want to encourage you to please continue to plunge forward and add more content! It is always possible for others to edit the content in various ways, but the most important thing is to put it up, because of course content is the lifeblood of almost any site. And in that respect, I would greatly encourage you to please post listings for specific restaurants and cafes, shops, museums, and other attractions in and around Toledo (if some of them are in other towns, please consider creating new articles about those towns if no such articles already exist). Please use the listings templates, such as you can see by clicking any of the buttons to the immediate right of the word "Listings" in your edit screen, and please include contact info (phone number, email, URL), opening hours, rates, and any other useful information you have - and if you don't have all of that info at your fingertips, anything for starters will help!

Please don't hesitate to ask any question you might have. You can just reply to this post, signing your post with this at the end: ~~~~

Thanks a lot, and I look forward to seeing more of your contributions!

All the best,

Thank you, Ikan Kekek.
I am very new to this and appreciate your feed back. My town is small and literately lives on tourism, which has dwindled considerably in recent years. I am trying to build visibility for some of our town, because we have amazing events (worth traveling for). I love your improvements and edits, it is a pleasure to meet you. If you have any ideas for me please write back.

Hi, BlessedxCurse. I hope you don't mind that I moved your reply from your user page to your user talk page. This is the page where we have discussions. Your user page is a place where you can introduce yourself (though still without running afoul of the site's restrictions on touting).
Anyway, I think it's totally great to promote (within the style of this guide) a place that's well worth visiting but undertouristed. Please post entries for specific worthwhile events in the "Do" section of the article. You might notice that I've deleted information about charities: Charities are wonderful! However, I doubt people are going to make a trip to Toledo specifically in order to contribute to local charities there, rather than somewhere else. But any good restaurants, bars, or particularly interesting shops that might be a draw for visitors (so no lumber stores, but stores selling things a visitor might want to take home) would be terrific to list in the "Eat," "Drink" and "Buy" sections.
