Hi Alice, thanks for the positive feedback. It's my pleasure to update the page a wee bit. Hopefully more up-to-date information will help both visitors as well as those locals in the tourist industry. Yes, I live here in Christchurch. I just heard about Wikivoyage last night when I saw Jimmy Wales on The Colbert Report. It's nice having a wiki that I can make a meaningful contribution to again. Are you local as well? - Not really... (huge and enigmatic grin). My work often takes me travelling (another huge and enigmatic grin) and, of course, Singapore Airlines has long had direct flights into CHC (previously, with the high seat occupancy factor it should actually have been one of our most profitable routes, but the recent swingeing increases in landing charges by CHC airport don't help.) -- Alice✉ 00:05, 10 January 2013 (UTC)
