Hi. Your listing in the Ohrid article was reverted Because It Violates Wikivoyage Policies On Touting And Unnecessary, Promotional Capitalization. It's not the job of unpaid volunteers on this site to edit out all your promotional capitalization. Do it yourself and then you may repost, but also eliminate a link in the "image" tab to any photo not hosted at Wikimedia Commons - and if you don't know what that is, your photo isn't hosted there. See https://commons.wikimedia.org/wiki/Main_Page.

If you edit your listing accordingly, great, but do not edit war or continue to use promotional capitalization, or it might prove necessary to suspend your posting privileges. Just letting you know. Thanks.

I'm seeing that you posted listings with the same format in many articles. In some of them, you also used default address parameters. Don't include Macedonia in your addresses, nor the name of the town if it's the one covered in the article; just include the street address. Thanks. How to locate sleep listings[edit]

It looks to me like you're posting very general areas a lot of the time, not actual street addresses. If you have or can find precise street addresses, or better yet, latitude/longitude geocoding, please provide them. If you don't, it starts to look like you're just expecting people to ask the manager by email or phone "Where is your hotel?" The whole point of Wikivoyage is for it to be usable for travelers without extra research. Thanks a lot.

Descriptions of hotels[edit]

Could you possibly describe the hotels you're listing in any way? It's really hard to know whether they're worthwhile, since all you're listing is a name, location and contact information. Ikan Kekek (talk) 09:37, 11 February 2020 (UTC)[reply]

Capitalization[edit]

Hello again, Deso.mk, and thanks for adding descriptions to listings! As a matter of style, try to follow Wikivoyage guidelines on capitalization. The first word in every sentence (for example, the first word in the "content" tab of any listing) should be capitalized, but otherwise, ordinary words should not be capitalized unless they're part of a proper name (for example, "river" is not capitalized but "Hudson River" is). Here are some problematic examples from edits of yours:

Fish dishes, Sea food, Desserts, Kids playground, Garden, Private parking

Why are you capitalizing so many words? Words get capitalized after periods, not after commas. And there should be a period at the end of "content": it's the one tab that doesn't automatically end in a period. (Parenthetically, "seafood" is one word and "kids' playground" is written like that, but since playgrounds are nearly always for kids, just "playground" is sufficient.)

fish dishes, fish pond, traditional food, garden, grill

The first word should be capitalized and there should be a period at the end.

Clear? Let me know if you have any questions, and thanks.

All the best,
