Hello, IBme! Welcome to Wikivoyage.

To help get you started contributing, we've created a tips for new contributors page, full of helpful links about policies and guidelines and style, as well as some important information on copyleft and basic stuff like how to edit a page. If you need help, check out Help, or post a message in the travellers' pub.

I do have to ask, though, if you have an association with Internet Brands. Your username resembles the pattern used by Internet Brands employees on Wikitravel, and is likely to cause -- minimally -- some very unfortunate misunderstandings among the community. If you are not employed by IB, could I perhaps recommend a username change?

At any rate, thanks for your contributions so far!

Hello, LtPowers and thanks for the welcome. I am not employed or associated with Internet Brands. Can I change to IByou? lol. I do not want to cause any misunderstandings but IBme (talk) 19:35, 3 December 2012 (UTC)[reply]
No, the problem is the "IB" prefix. Do you know User:IBdick? It seems strange that both of you would show up on the same day. LtPowers (talk) 19:48, 3 December 2012 (UTC)[reply]
User:IBdick is employed with Internet Brands. --Saqib (talk) 19:53, 3 December 2012 (UTC)[reply]
If so, he's not editing from anywhere near there.  :) See my comment on his user talk page. Philippe Beaudette, Wikimedia Foundation (talk) 20:15, 3 December 2012 (UTC)[reply]

Confirming[edit]

Hi folks, I can state categorically that User:IBme is not editing from an IP block associated with Internet Brands.  :) Philippe Beaudette, Wikimedia Foundation (talk) 20:12, 3 December 2012 (UTC)[reply]

Thank you, Philippe. LtPowers (talk) 21:07, 3 December 2012 (UTC)[reply]
