Hello, PreseliVenture! Welcome to Wikivoyage.

To help get you started contributing, we've created a tips for new contributors page, full of helpful links about policies and guidelines and style, as well as some important information on copyleft and basic stuff like how to edit a page. If you need help, check out Help, or post a message in the travellers' pub. If you are familiar with Wikipedia, take a look over some of the differences here.

Thanks for your work on Abercastle! Texugo (talk) 12:29, 6 May 2014 (UTC)[reply]

Welcome from me too! Did you know that when you create a new article you can just click on one of the links above the editing window to add a template with all the standard headers and some other stuff? Unlike Wikipedia articles it's no shame to have a header without any content below. ϒpsilon (talk) 13:48, 6 May 2014 (UTC)[reply]

Preseli Venture activity listings[edit]

Hello and thanks a lot for adding content to this site! Also, please have a look at welcome, business owners and the site policies on how to avoid the appearance of seeming touting. There's absolutely no problem with the tone of your listings, but there is an issue: This site's policy normally does not allow a business to be listed in more than one place, and since you are based in Pembrokeshire Coast National Park and your office is in Mathry, perhaps the most appropriate place for you to put a listing is either the Pembrokeshire Coast National Park article or a Mathry article which you could create, if such an article is warranted. However, since surfing sessions are also run from Abermawr and coasteering and kayaking are run from Abercastle, it may make sense to mention that in the "Do" sections of those articles while directing readers to the full listing in Pembrokeshire Coast National Park or Mathry. The other possibility would be for an exception to be made, given that you actually do operate in more than one place. Are there any other pages where you were planning on putting up a listing? I think i will put us in the Pembs Coast National park listing. We do operate in different venues, but as we can only list in one I think that makes the most sense. Thank you! —The preceding comment was added by PreseliVenture (talkcontribs)
Certainly. One small detail: Please sign your posts on talk pages (only) by typing 4 tildes (the ~ key) in a row at the end of your post.
All the best,

A further remark: I see your listing now, but that's not a full listing. Didn't you have a full listing before in one of the other articles? You need to include the street address of the office, telephone number, etc. Ikan Kekek (talk) 11:52, 22 May 2014 (UTC)[reply]

Abermawr[edit]

Please note that I have changed Abermawr back to a redirect to Abercastle. Abermawr is really nothing more than a beach, and per Wikivoyage:What is an article?, it should not have its own article, and thus should be covered in the nearest town article (Abercastle). Please do not revert it again. Texugo (talk) 11:31, 7 May 2014 (UTC)[reply]
