Hello, and Welcome to Wikivoyage!

To help get you started contributing, we've created a tips for new contributors page, full of helpful links about policies and guidelines and style, as well as some important information on copyleft and basic stuff like how to edit a page.

If you would ever like some help, check out Project:Help, or post a message in the travellers' pub or right here.

If you are a Wikipedian, or have previously used Wikipedia, then you may notice some differences in the style of our articles. These include:

  • "External links" → We do not use a separate external links section, but incorporate primary links only into the text itself.

I hope it's not too disappointing that I reverted your first edit. Wikivoyage's policy is not to list car rental agencies when it's easy to find them and there are a number of them in a given city. You can see more on the external links page.

Thanks for contributing!

All the best,

Are you working as a paid publicist for hotel chains such as WelcomHotel? Please address this suspicion, as paid publicists are not permitted to add any new listings. If you do not reply, your recent edits may all be reverted. Ikan Kekek (talk) 18:16, 28 January 2014 (UTC)[reply]
Update: Most of your recent listings have been deleted anyway, for touting. But it's important for you to reply to my suspicion, in any case. Ikan Kekek (talk) 18:20, 28 January 2014 (UTC)[reply]
Further update: The touting was so bad in a whole bunch of listings I just reverted that I think you should get fair warning that if you flood this site with listings of similar tone again, it might be necessary to block your account. Ikan Kekek (talk) 18:27, 28 January 2014 (UTC)[reply]
