Waterdown is a community in the Golden Horseshoe region of Ontario. Although part of the city of Hamilton, it's located closer to the city of Burlington.

Waterdown is located on (the former) Highway 5 and just east of Highway 6.

See

• Great Falls, Mill St. (just south of the railway overpass). A picturesque waterfall, easily viewed. Can be quite striking in winter after it has frozen. This is also the location of the former industrial community of Smokey Hollow, remnants of which can be found around the site. 
• Historic architecture. There are many beautiful old stone buildings in Waterdown. Mill St. is a good place to start.
