Western Tamil Nadu is in India. It consists of the districts of Coimbatore, Erode, Nilgiris, and Tirupur.

Be careful at waterfalls as rocks may be slippery. Do not enter forests without permission and proper things like a torch (flashlight), drinking water, magnetic compass, food, adequate clothing, and maps as mobile signals are not available within some forests. Do not litter plastic wrappers or bottles in forests. Do not start a campfire in the jungle.
