This lacks enough travel content to justify its existence & is not formatted anywhere near correctly for this site; notably it has both external links & references sections. I suspect much of it was copied from somewhere, which would justify speedy deletion, but I have not found the source Pashley (talk) 02:24, 7 December 2025 (UTC)

Per Wikivoyage:Bodies of water, I don't think that this article meets the requirements as a destination. Wikivoyage generally does not have articles about bodies of water. Ground Zero (talk) 20:13, 24 December 2025 (UTC)
- Comment. This is a tough call for me. First, it's a national park and there is potential for this to be a national park article, or a rural area article about the towns surrounding the lake. However, in its current state the article doesn't convince me it can be either of these things. Second, it clearly is a tourist destination, judging from Google reviews, and is better known than the towns and POIs around it. Unfortunately, the Nigeria parks website seems to be down, so it's hard to judge whether the national park meets WV:WIAA. I don't see a good redirect article as the reservoir is split across two states. On balance, I think moving this article to Kainji National Park, on the condition that it be developed into a good article that passes What is an article?, is the best solution to the issue. --Comment by Selfie City (talk) (contributions) 22:36, 24 December 2025 (UTC)

- I for one don’t know how I missed that article. The content should be merged there, no question. However, there are major issues with that national park article.
