Get around[edit]

Walking - The sidewalks are a good 3 to 4 feet wide and give plenty of ample walking space. You can no doubt get from "here" to "there" on foot.

Automobile - Probably 50% of the roads in Windsor are paved! You can feel comfortable knowing if you drive into town, you'll be able to get to most places.

Windsor is a small town on the outskirts of Binghamton, not far from the PA border. There is one grocery store, a pharmacy, a few cafes and bars. There's also a park with a swimming pool, basketball courts, playground and little league (and softball) fields. There are more than a few farms in Windsor and fresh produce being sold on the village green during the summertime farmer's market every Saturday.

Farmer's Market - Set up on the sidewalk along the village green. Saturday mornings during the summer months.

Concert on the Green - Weekends during the summer. Musicians perform on the village Green for locals to enjoy.

Golden Oaks Golf Club - 679 State Route 79 - An 18-hole golf course. The course rating is 70.8 and it has a slope rating of 119.

Big M Supermarket - You'll find everything from cottage cheese to root beer to diapers to eggnog (around December) Plus - there's a grabby machine located near the entrance for the kids!

Eat[edit]

You'll never go hungry in Windsor - there's always a spaghetti dinner happening at one of the many churches!

Chip's - Sometimes they still let you smoke inside!

McBride's - This fun-loving joint serves a good time along with its beer and pizza.

Gordy's - Next time you're in town, check out his famous chicken wings while signing up for the Dart League.
