Lingayen is a town, the provincial capital in Pangasinan, known for its long and wide beach.

It is home to about 108,000 people (census, 1 May 2020) "edit wikidata". The town is divided into 32 barangays for administrative purposes.

Lingayen is the capital municipality of the province. It is the birthplace of the Philippines' 12th President, Fidel V. Ramos.

Just 8 km from Lingayen is Bugallon, a town with a rich historical background and a connection to the Philippines' fight for independence, named after General Urbano Bugallon, a native of the town and a hero of the Philippine Revolution against Spanish colonial rule.
