Rians is a town of 4,300 people (2018) in Var in France.

The main employment is agriculture, predominantly wine. The town is made up of concentric medieval streets that work their way down the hill.

Zou! Bus Route 1001 provides service: La Verdière, Saint-Julien, and Ginasservis to Rians, then continues to Vinon-sur-Verdon and Manosque

By car[edit]

Take the D 23 from Ginasservis from the north or the D# from St Maximim la Sainte Baume from the south.

Departmental road 561 arrives from Artigues (6.2 km) and Esparron.

This is a medieval town whose urban planning predates the internal combustion engine by 1000 years.
