Grande Salvador (Greater Salvador) is in northern coast of the state of Bahia in Brazil.

  • 3 Itaparica — an island at the entrance of Todos os Santos Bay with 40 km of beaches and exuberant tropical vegetation
  • 4 Lauro de Freitas Lauro de Freitas on Wikipedia — a city of 200,000 people that draws many pilgrims to its mass and procession for Santo Amaro de Ipitanga in January
  • 5 Praia do Forte — very touristy, but it's a beautiful and pleasant spot, and a good way to relax from the noise and crowds of Salvador
  • 6 Santo Antônio de Jesus — the largest center in the Reconcavo region
