Mandvi is a town in the Kutch district of the Gujarat state of India.

Vijay Vilas Palace
  • 1 Vijay Vilas Palace. 9AM-1PM, 3PM-6PM. It is a summer palace of erstwhile royal family of Kutch. Built in 1929 by Vijayrajji. Made of red sandstone in Rajpur architectural style. Great rooftop balconies giving fantastic view of the sea and surrounding greenery. It has a collections of stuffed animals, furniture and portraits of royals.   • 2 Topansar Lake.
  • 3 Mandvi Beach. Scenic beach at sunset. Enjoy water sports. Bath in seawater and enjoy snacks sold by vendors. Ride horse or camel. Locker rooms and bath available. Free. Mandvi beach (Q19833887) on Wikidata
  • 4 Windmill Beach.
  • 5 Mandvi port. Small ships are loaded and unloaded here from this ancient port.
  • 6 Kashi Vishwanath Beach, Salaya. An isolated beach with mostly no people or some locals playing cricket.
  • 7 Kranti Trith (Shyamji Krishna Varma Memorial).
  • Mandvi Fort. Some ruins of the fort survives including gates.
  • 8 Shipbuilding near old port. Traditional shipbuilding from wood can be seen along the old port on mouth of Rukmavati river. These 400 years old industry still use traditional methods of building plank by plank. The timber industry of the town depend on this.
  • 9 Swaminarayan Temple.
  • 10 Sagar Ship Museum, Mandavi Bunder Road (Near Gujarat Maritime Board office), +91 9925751683, +91 9898544797. 9AM-1PM, 3PM-7PM. Maritime history and miniature ships museum.
  • Old town. The streets of the old town is dotted with old Havelis of wealthy merchants of the town of bygone era. The facades of there haveli depicts European influences including angels and faces as well as stained glass windows. The market is busting in day and empty at night.

The town is a birthplace of popular Gujarati fastfood Dabeli/Double Roti which can be found on every nook and corner of the town. Local speciality Khajli Pakwan a breakfast pastry available in most local sweet shops.
