City walk plagiarized from Lonely Planet[edit]
Sorry, but the city walk looks like a close plagiarism of the walk on p99 of the current Lonely Planet Japan. —The preceding comment was added by 128.237.154.30 (talk • contribs)
- If you know that, you should delete it right away. I'll try to find the exact section you're referring to, but you know exactly what it is, so why didn't you delete it and put this remark in an edit summary you would type in the "Summary" box below your edit screen? - That said, I found nothing in a web search and haven't found anything in a search of the Lonely Planet site. I guess the city walk is only in print copies of Lonely Planet Japan? Why wouldn't they have included it on their site? Ikan Kekek (talk) 11:47, 22 May 2024 (UTC)

- Thanks for checking that out, User:SHB2000! I don't think we should delete the section unless we have more evidence. User:128.237.154.30, which edition of Lonely Planet Japan were you looking at? Was it published before the edits were made to this article by User:SNN95 on November 19, 2017? Could you please type some passages from the printed guide in question, so that we can compare the phrasings? I think that quoting a few sentences with a citation on a talk page for the purposes of determining plagiarism is a respectable fair use. Ikan Kekek (talk) 13:38, 22 May 2024 (UTC)

Shinjyuku? Not Shinjuku?[edit]
Dear 隼鷹, you reverted my modification by changing "Shinjuku" into "Shinjyuku". As far as I know, the official/usual name is "Shinjuku". Could you explain in which context "Shinjyuku" would be a more adapted writing please? — Fabimaru (talk) 18:54, 24 April 2016 (UTC)
Changed banner[edit]
I changed the banner which was a panda. I thought it was a good illustration of the Ueno zoo… until I realized it was a photo from San Diego. I am not completely satisfied with the replacement (a rotated view of the National Museum), but I find it more honest. If you find better do not hesitate.
