San Carlos is in Pangasinan, Philippines.

San Carlos predates colonial times in the Philippines, as it was early on a center of trade with China, Japan, and southeastern Asian principalities, particularly with regards to mung bean production that was prolific in the area.

  • 3 Saint Joseph the Patriarch Parish Church. Church dating to 1809 in Aguilar, a municipality named after Spanish governor-general Rafael Maria de Aguilar, who ordered its establishment on 16 July 1805 due to sanguine qualities in the area like mineral water and fertile grounds for rice and cattle cultivation.

  • 5 San Carlos Plaza, Palaris Street. Open 24 hours. City park, Safe for visiting hour since police were there as well to help and assist. Free.

  • 2 Manleluag Hot Spring. Hot spring pools for adults and children, with some hiking terrain in Manleluag Spring National Park to the west.
  • 3 Mount Zion Pilgrim Mountain. Go mountain biking along this challenging vertical route that features a Christian shrine and breathtaking views at the top.
