Boujdour is in Western Sahara.
Understand[edit]
Boujdour is not a tourist destination. People here live off fishing. But with lots of money from the Moroccan government, sufficient infrastructure has been created to make this town a good choice for spending the night when traveling through Western Sahara.
Get in[edit]
Boujdour lies on the one and only road that connects Agadir with Dakhla and Mauritania. So all buses that go between those places also stop here.
Get around[edit]
The centre is pretty small and it is easy to walk around.
See[edit]
The sunset at the beach or the pretty Stalinist city layout and architecture of government buildings, if that is your cup of tea.
Do[edit]
Buy[edit]
Eat[edit]
There are lots of restaurants on the main road that serve typical Moroccan food.
Drink[edit]
Sleep[edit]
Along the main road there are several hotels. Rooms with TV, WiFi and private bathrooms can be had for 150 dirhams.
