- 3 Laura Ingalls Wilder Park and Museum (The Masters Hotel), 3603 236th Ave, Burr Oak (13 miles north of Decorah), ☏ +1 563 735-5916, museum@lauraingallswilder.us. Laura Ingalls Wilder's family lived in The Masters Hotel in 1876. The family's stay there is not described in any of the books she wrote about her childhood, but it is the only building she lived in that is still standing. Open May to October, with variable hours. $8.
