Inverigo is a village in the Province of Como in Lombardy. It is on the border of the land of Brianza. Inverigo has a really beautiful castle, but now you can't visit because somebody bought it. You can visit the "viale dei cipressi", an old road filled of cypress; every spring many people comes here. Also the "Tenuta di Pomelasca" is really interesting, it is an old villa with gardens and churches.

The French writer known as Stendhal wrote about Inverigo, he called this village "collis cyparissorum", in Latin. Stendhal spent some time in Inverigo, in Hotel Foscolo, where also Foscolo, an important Italian writer of the early XVIII century, lived.

By bus you can arrive in Inverigo from Como, Cantù and Erba.
