Are animal collisions a conceivable risk on a bicycle?[edit]

I think the risk on a motorized two wheel vehicle is perhaps only slightly lower due to the ability to swerve at the last moment, however if a collision happens, there is less crumple zone. Is there a realistic scenario for such a collision while on a bicycle? (Perhaps when going downhill fast?) Hobbitschuster (talk) 13:05, 15 August 2021 (UTC)[reply]

I found one article in the Press-Citizen of Iowa indicating a fatal crash. --Comment by Selfie City (talk | contributions) 13:22, 15 August 2021 (UTC)[reply]
It is certainly possible – I have collided with a crow by bike – but I don't think the risk for animal collisions by bike is worth mentioning. –LPfi (talk) 19:05, 15 August 2021 (UTC)[reply]
