Purpose of article?[edit]

Is this really a travel topic? I understand that animal welfare should be a consideration for travelers, but the way the article is currently written looks more like an attempt at animal welfare activism than impartial advice on this subject. --Andrewssi2 (talk) 23:26, 30 August 2015 (UTC)[reply]

The purpose of the article is to provide a simple ethical checklist from a travel guide context; the recent additions seem to be excessive. The quote about Sea World looks like a false accusation; when I was at Sea World, there was no seafood on the menu. /Yvwv (talk) 03:18, 31 August 2015 (UTC)[reply]
Thanks, the list you removed was basically a list of things some people (myself included for most items) don't like, but just not travel relevant and made the article's purpose really confusing.
The Seaworld quote was also off the mark. Even had it been correct then I still don't see its relevance. Andrewssi2 (talk) 03:56, 31 August 2015 (UTC)[reply]
The Seaworld quote is a joke, attributed to a comedienne. K7L (talk) 12:58, 31 August 2015 (UTC)[reply]
