Are you sure Basra is dangerous enough to have a warning box? It's definitely not one of the most dangerous on the planet, as the warning box implies. Libertarianmoderate (talk) 00:34, 30 July 2018 (UTC)
- The warning box was added in 2011 and may be out of date but nearly all Western, English-speaking countries still strongly discourage travel to all of Iraq which would include Basra. And from my understanding the safest part relatively speaking is Iraqi Kurdistan in the northeast, not Basra which is in the south. I think we should err on the side of caution and follow official advice, unless one of the editors here has been to Basra recently and found it safe. Gizza (roam) 00:47, 30 July 2018 (UTC)
