Brant County[edit]

This article includes some sites in Brant County, so it makes sense to expand the lead to reflect this. Should we move the article to "Brantford and Brant County"? We dont have enough content to justify a separate Brant County article yet. Ground Zero (talk) 21:01, 25 June 2020 (UTC)[reply]

Comment in the lede is fine, but don't change the name. Creating a redirect for the county to the city article is possible, but I don't think it is necessary.Pashley (talk) 22:50, 25 June 2020 (UTC)[reply]
Yeah, it's established Wikivoyage policy that the "boundaries" covered by a given article don't necessarily have to correspond with actual municipal boundaries. For instance, Rochester (New York) contains listings in surrounding suburban areas that retain Rochester mailing addresses, and our article on East Aurora, New York has at least one that's located in the surrounding unincorporated Town of Aurora. -- AndreCarrotflower (talk) 16:43, 26 June 2020 (UTC)[reply]
We could create a separate article for Rural Brant County. --Comment by Selfie City (talk | contributions) 16:59, 26 June 2020 (UTC)[reply]
Brantford is not a part of Brant county -- it sits at the centre of the county, like the hole in a doughnut. I don't think there are enough POIs to build a Brant County article, so I am happy to leave Brant County listings in the Brantford article for now. Ground Zero (talk) 17:35, 26 June 2020 (UTC)[reply]
